The Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia
Aylesford is a small community between Berwick and Greenwood in Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley, and has a population of about 800. Despite its size Aylesford has a number of interesting agricultural operations. One is a cheese factory where they produce cheese and other dairy products. There is also a cranberry production with a large cranberry bog used to grow and harvest the berries. Aylesford, as well, has an operation which harvests peat moss.
