Cambridge Nova Scotia

Although small, Cambridge is a growing community with a population of just over 700. Cambridge is home to two schools: Cambridge and District Elementary School, which covers grades primary to six, and Central Kings Rural High School, which is located next door and takes students from Cambridge Elementary and a number of other schools. Central Kings has over 800 students, which is more than the population of Cambridge itself.

Cambridge is also home to the Valley Drive-In Theatre, one of the few drive-ins still operating in Nova Scotia. It is open from mid May until September, and plays a double feature each Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. The Waterville/Kings County Municipal Airport is between Cambridge and Waterville: despite its name, the entrance (at least) is located in Cambridge.

The 2006 census states the population of Cambridge is 1,267. the 700 figure seems a bit low

    Hi Robyn,

The population information came from http://www.county.kings.ns.ca/information/population.htm They say that it was based on 2006 census information.
