The Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia
Lawrencetown is a small village in Annapolis County. It was founded in 1760 and now has a population close to 700.
Each year Lawrencetown hosts the Annapolis Valley Exhibition which is a week long agricultural event which draws a large crowd.
It is also home to the Centre of Geographic Sciences which is part of the Nova Scotia Community College.
Recently Lawrencetown gained National attention by making it into the top 5 finalists for CBC's Kraft Hockeyville.
