The Annapolis Valley of Nova Scotia
The Village of New Minas is the Shopping Centre of the Annapolis Valley. With the County Fair Mall and many other big box stores it is the logical place to go to when you need something. New Minas became a Village in 1968.
New Minas is also known as the soccer capital of the Atlantic Provinces as they host many tournaments from around the area.
With a population of over 4000 some speculate that New Minas will soon become an incorporated town instead of the Village it is today.
